-So basketball is over and i took last week off from playing and just would go running almost everyday and it was great! Me, Stephanie (beaty) and my roommate Rachel went running to the temple and walked up the cemetery behind it and it is breath taking. You can see the ocean and all of Laie, and then you are also going up on the side of the mountain sort of- so basically it is beautiful and peaceful and Steph and Rach were having a bad day so it was good for us all to go up there and just meditate. But it was great- me and steph have a good time out here, i'm like her permanent therapist.
- As of wedding plans.. haha i'm still working on things slowly but surely. I have a dress and my coach is going to sell it to me for 150 and then i just need to get it back to GA. But it is way simple which is perfectly ok by me. And then i've also been looking at wedding invitations and i think the best deal i've found is one from Costco.com and it's simple as well but we can add things to it to spice it up and just make it elegant for a really good price. I am starting to gather some addresses from people- if y'all could help me out with that one that would be amazing.. i know dad has the Christmas list, but if you come in contact with some other good friends that would like one, lets get their address just in case! thanks
-So I am also going to get a job now bball is over. I just got hired today to work at the Hale Ohana at the PCC- as technically a "waitress" but it's more so doing everything since it is a buffet, and then there is live entertainment (no i'm not dancing mom and dad... haha). It will be fun to interact with people like that again and i'm excited! especially to get an income again!!! it's been a while to know what that feels like!
- As of last week I made a record of going to the beach 4/7 days... it was GREAT! i am just now getting a good base tan that will last a long time, so now i can just start getting darker! with sunscreen of course.. i've only peeled in one little spot i forgot to put sunscreen on! so i've been good! i don't get burnt! And maybe after this week it will stop raining so much! it rains like once a day whether it is a down pour or just sprinkles for 5 min.
- Hmm i have been able to do a couple different fun things lately like go to one of the nicest hotels on the island called Ko''olina- and it was like a mini PCC experience with the shows from each of the islands and a buffet with Hawaiian foods which are way yummy- and best of all it had a PERFECT sunset! My good friend Tweeka Tufunga- who served in our wards back home was the one that took me and Stephanie! so it was lots of fun and very nice of him to take us along!
planning on coming out here in the near future to see the girls play next year and i can see some of my friends out here again, as well as introduce pete to them! Family, i love you so much! y'all can call me anytime! I am 6 hrs behind you, so if you are ever bored in the afternoon- I always write a novel.. i am sorry, i know you're tired of reading the whole thing i'm sure... but i'm so happy out here. i still really miss pete, but we still are doing very good! it's really helping us with our patience and learning so much about each other still! it's great! but i only have a little over a month left here in paradise and i'm going to miss it so much! but me and pete are/night time then go ahead and call! hehe but anyways take care- Brooke good luck with getting ready for China.. it's like what i had to do to prepare to come out here, but i'm here for 4 months.. you only have 2 months to pack for! but k bye!

congrats on your job! Hopefully you won't have to miss too much of your beach/tanning time because of it! Have fun. By-the-way, how are your grades?
i appreciated the mentioning of a fireside and hoes in the same paragraph... don't worry too much about grades. C's get degrees. Have some fun.
