First off, thanks Dean for inviting me to participate in the family blog. I feel liberated by his allowing me to express my thoughts here. My emotion can be seen in the picture above.
So, I am enjoying the hot life in AZ very much. I may take that back in August, but for now it is great. Lately I have been job hunting and interviewing. It has been a slightly painful process, but I know I will find the right thing for me.
So, what do I do in my spare time you may ask. I sleep in. Hang out with my sister and kids, and job hunt online. My Young Women's calling has been keeping me quite busy. I have enjoyed it quite a bit so far. I am the Secretary. I get to do all my favorite nit picky things like make calendars, do the budget etc. Seriously, I like that sort of thing. Is it wierd? Perhaps.
Next week I am venturing to the sunny shores of CA, with my sister and her kids. My Aunt Sandi lives in San Diego and she is so kind to let us stay with her. We already have a whale watching trip planned for Tuesday with my cousin Katie. I was hoping to get in with the whales...like on that movie Whale Rider. I haven't seen it, but I can imagine myself doing something like that.
I am looking forward to the Gibson Family Reunion next January in Disney World. I talk about it once and a while, and it really gets on Dean's nerves. Apparently I have an unusually high excitement factor for Disney for a woman my age.
Well, I will take some pics for ya'll in San Diego.
Much love, and world peace, Meg
