Off to work I go!

So i just got done with my first week of working at the PCC (Polynesian Cultural Center) as a waitress in Hale Ohana. It's been a pretty good week! It doesn't take a whole lot so it is pretty easy to catch on to things, luckily cause i'm only here for a couple more weeks! But anyways I've gotten to talk to so many people from all around the world and i LOVE IT! y'all know how i could talk to anyone! haha one night i ran into a family from UT that knew who Jay and Dad were which was cool, then last night was probably the most fun because one table i had a bunch of elderly people who were all hearing impaired basically and didn't ever hear me so it was entertaining, Then i had a family from LaGrange GA!!! yay that was exciting!!! i talked to them for a little while, and finally the most fun was this big table from mexico- and they didn't speak great english so i could talk to them in my spanglish and help out a little bit. it was so much fun! i missed being able to speak spanish good! haha but it was fun. I work from 4--7:45 every night but twice a week one on sunday and then one random day of the week. So hopefully i can get a little bit of money working here. Also this week i was working out with the basketball girls again just lifting and running a bit. THursday we got to go to the pool and play a little pool basketball- it got pretty intense! But i've been trying to work out as much as i can- i usually fit in a nice 20 min run from campus to the temple and back then stretch and do push ups and sit ups before i shower and get ready for work. But yeah Then this weekend has been pretty fun as Friday i just hung out with my soccer girl friends and then stayed up talking till 3:00 in the morning. My one friend macy is so much fun to talk to about anything and we're trying to make plans to where she can come to either the wedding or the reception in cali. The sat morning a bunch of us woke up at 6 in the morning to watch conference! haha i acctually stayed awake and wrote a bunch of notes! there were a lot of my favorite speakers in that one! then napped before the next one came on at 10- then went to watch the bball games before work. This morning there was a TON of people that were up at 6 to watch conference in our little lobby! but it worked then got to watch the second session at 2 because i slept through part of the live showing of it- but yeah life is pretty good- school is getting a little stressful, but it's alright- it is almost over! i can't wait to get home and see everyone!

congrats to Meg for getting a job and dean getting internet! haha and i hope your gums feel better brooke- i've been there too with the whole gum surgery thing! but I hope the fam has a great time on spring break! enjoy the beach! i do! hahah I love you!!

--> this was a fun day at the beach with steph! haha she decided to get her big confederate flag from her room and we fixed it up to fly on the back of our friend Nate's truck he let us borrow for a week while he was out of town! haha and we just couldn't help but to blast our country music on the way to the beach too! it was fun!
