Spring Break 2007

Well I survived a week with the girls in Florida. I was a little worried about taking them with us because they have never been away from home overnight before. They actually surprised me and were well behaved the entire trip. I definitely got a taste of what it's like as a single mother. It may be fun for a couple of days, but I can easily see how it could be very hard over a lifetime. This was also their first time ever seeing the ocean, so you can imagine their excitement when they first saw it. Once we arrived we went straight to the beach and took some pictures:

The weather was great the first 2 days but the 3rd day was too cold to do anything outside. The girls liked playing in the waves, flying kites, and getting buried in the sand:

We went out to dinner for Dad's birthday. Eliya was SO excited to wear her spring dress as well as the shaw. She felt like a princess. Dani is just a rockstar sportin' the bandana. She wore it almost every day.
