WE'RE GOING TO ISRAEL!!

It's official. Brooke and I are going to Israel for two weeks in July. We are both very excited. She has been wanting to go for a lot longer than I have, but since I have been hearing all these stories from the family I've been working for, my excitement has grown immensly. I'm a wee bit nervous about it because Jersualem is not the safest place around, but it only makes it more exciting. We will be staying in Tel Aviv, which is apparently safer than Atlanta, and ON THE COAST OF THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA. Yael tells me that Brooke and I will be able to go to a cafe at 2 am in the city and not have a worry in the world. I hope she's right. Our trip will definitley consist of a trip (or two) to Jerusalem and visit the holy lands. I'm starting to do some reading about where we should go so I can appreciate it as much as I can. I don't want to be seeing these places and not have a clue as to their importance.

Well that is the most exciting part of my life for now. Lisa - hope the plans are going well for you. I also hope you're enjoying this time, because it's one of the BEST times of your life!!
